Brzeżany [bʐɛˈʐanɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Góra, within Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] Prior to 1945 it was part of Germany.

It lies approximately 8 km (5 mi) north-west of Góra, and 76 km (47 mi) north-west of the regional capital Wrocław, and 315 km (196 mi) west from the nation's capital Warsaw.[citation needed]
