List of cities in Bashkortostan

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a complete list of cities in Bashkortostan. There are 21 cities[a][1][2][3] (Bashkir: ҡала, romanizedqala) in Bashkortostan. City status was usually granted in imperial times.

Smaller settlements are urban-type settlements (Bashkir: ҡала тибындағы ҡасаба, romanizedqala tibındağı qasaba) and villages (Bashkir: ауыл, romanizedawıl).

The list of cities is ordered by the 2021 Russian census[4] and compared to the 2010 census.[5] The cities of republic significance[1][2][3] are shown in italic.
